I've said for years that for some people, when they hear Pink Floyd for the 1st time, it's like they are hearing music for the 1st time! MAGIC! Early PF music 60's / 70's was mostly instrumental.

Yeah bro I put this in top 5 or definitely top 10 metallica all time. I have to really think of songs that I put above this, master of puppets, sanitarium, disposable heroes, four horsemen, trapped under ice, blackened... some of those I'm probly influenced by sentimental value. But sheee I put this over alot of other all time classic metallica songs. You got it man when i listen to this and it comes to 7:00 I think to myself now the gloves coming off

I admit I'm old school metallica from the 80s who thinks ajfa was the last of peak metallica, but this one here I put as one of their greatest songs ever.

I regard Megadeth as a vastly more consequential metal band than Metallica, which started out similarly but quickly lost its relevance.

My girlfriend at the time and I saw Journey during this exact concert tour in Charlotte, October 1981. I was 16. Attending concerts was the think we really enjoyed doing together. Journey, Styx, Rush, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon. It was a great time to be alive. The music. Love was better. Relationships were closer. People were happier. Life was more relaxed. It was truly an incredible time to be young. So blessed to have these memories. Thanks for the great reaction.

I was 15 when this album came out. I still remember sitting in my room with the black light and about half baked with the headphones in my opinion the only way to listen to Floyd is with headphones in the dark and just let the music take you.

When I first hear that guitar I did not realized it will mark me for life....

It took 40 years to admit that I tear up every time when I listen to them....

" And you aren't alone in your estimation of this song .... many Pink Floyd fans , including those of us who were teens or thereabouts when The Dark Side Of The Moon first came out and deemed it the best album ever produced ... period , even after hearing Wish You Were Here and The Wall , rate Dogs as Pink Floyd's best song. The entire Animals album is spectacular. Even ethereal. Definitely transporting. But Dogs stands out amongst all of PF's songs. I call the guitar solo for Dogs the cli****s of the Pink Floyd body of work. And I am referring to that work that is in our heads that the Dogs solo brings to a climax. It is always good to wait a while to listen to it again. Then when you come to the solo, the experience is as impactful as the previous encounter.

Seen them live in November it was legitimately the best most exhilarating experience of life. It's like a religous experience the feel in the whole stadium is unreal its like everyone in the place is connected ive never had that feeling and I've been to alot of shows.
